Job Vacancy: Executive Director

The Johnson Center for the Arts, and 501c3 organization, seeks applicants for the position of Executive Director. This is a part-time position of 32 hours per week.

The Executive Director

  • plans, leads and directs overall Center projects.

  • reports to the museum board.

  • participates in the selection of staff.

  • coordinates volunteers.

  • administers the annual budget.

  • develops, directs, and implements fund-raising, including applications for grants.

  • provides liaison with community groups, external partners and media.

  • coordinates educational programs and exhibits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Knowledge of business, personnel, and financial management desired.

Salary

  • Salary is dependent on qualifications.
